Over the years of attending to shows, and later as photographing show, I have seen the Parisian band The Earl Grey many more times than I can count. So, obviously, when they offered me to document their show in late March 2017 opening for You Me At Six, I couldn't refuse.
Few weeks before the show (March 31st 2017), The Earl Grey's frontman Alex called me to do a photo shoot for his side project Over The Moon, and to document their show at La Cigale, with You Me At Six. I arrived at the venue in the afternoon, to help load-in and set up the stage, and accidentally run into Dan of You Me At Six several times during the day. As the day went by, members of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and other friends joined the dressing room (on the third floor, my legs were dead at the end of the day), telling tour and show stories with a beer in our hands.
You can check out the full gallery from the show on RockUrLife here, and more pictures of The Earl Grey below.
Many thanks to The Earl Grey, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk, La Cigale's crew, Base Productions, 1664 and Kronenbourg.
